Potash fertilizers

Potassium Chloride (MOP)
Potassium Chloride (MOP) is a concentrated, single-component potassium fertilizer containing 60% potassium oxide (K₂O). It is one of the most widely used forms of potassium in agriculture and is particularly suitable for base fertilization in the autumn or before sowing. Potassium is essential for plant metabolism, improves water balance, promotes root development, and increases plant resistance to adverse conditions.
Features and benefits:
- High potassium concentration allows for efficient soil enrichment.
- Improves plant resistance to drought, frost, and disease.
- Promotes the accumulation of sugars, starch, and proteins – essential for root crops, fruits, and vegetables.
- An economical and widely used potassium fertilizer.
- Easy to spread and quickly absorbed by the soil.
Suitable for cereals, potatoes, sugar beets, corn, rapeseed, vegetables, fruits, berries, forage crops, and grasslands.
Application recommendations:
- Base fertilization in the autumn or before sowing – particularly effective in lighter soils.
- Not suitable for chloride-sensitive plants (e.g., grapes, tobacco, some vegetables) – chlorine-free potassium forms are better for these.
- Application rates depend on the crop type, target yield, and soil analysis results.
